The company was founded in 1980 on the corner of C st. and Main. Pets Are People Too has been under the same ownership and management since that time. Puppies at Pets Are People Too come from local sources only. We do not order puppies from brokers. Purebred puppies are sold for local breeders on consignment. Puppies are wormed, vaccinated, come with a free vet check and 5 pound of Avo- Derm Puppy food.

Cats
Kittens sold at Pets Are People Too come from local people needing to find homes for kittens. All kittens are vaccinated, wormed, neutered or spayed and come with four pounds of AvoDerm Kitten food.

Fish
Pets Are People Too has one of the largest displays of freshwater and saltwater tropical fish in the region. Please stop by and take a look. New shipments of fish are usually available on Thursdays.
