Programs

Female Sports Performance & Injury Prevention Program

Did you know that there are over 30,000 high school and college females that will injure their knees each year in the United States? In fact, these injuries are occurring at an alarming rate of 2-8 times more often than males participating in the same sports. Neuromuscular training programs have shown to reduce the risk of serious knee injuries by as much as 72% compared to untrained females. Additionally, these programs can help improve sports performance.

Total Joint Replacement Pre-operative Class
Are you having hip or knee pain? Has your doctor indicated a total joint replacement might benefit you? If you have a total joint replacement surgery scheduled, or are planning one in the future, a pre-operative educational and training class will provide valuable information.

Getting BACK to Golf
This informative seminar will educate golfer's of all levels about the proper mechanics of the golf swing as well as instruction on golf-specific stretching, strengthening, and warm-up routines to prevent injury and help recover from previous injury.

Triathalon Training & Biomechanical Principles
Many triathaletes experience pain and dysfunction sometime during their training and/or competitions. Often times, these overuse injuries are due to training errors, such as improper nutrition or training regimines, and also due to poor musculoskeletal biomechanics of the body.

Pool Fitness Program
Aquatic exercise is a wonderful alternative exercise program. Water is naturally buoyant, reducing the effect of gravity on the body. As a result, movement and exercises are more easily performed in water. Improved mobility and activity levels help build strength and enhance the ability to meet fitness goals.
